proLIGHT 1000 Machining Center

A versatile 3-axis CNC mill for training, engineering and light-duty industrial machining
applications. Designed to produce accurate machining and smooth surface finishes. R8
spindle taper accommodates standard tooling.

The proLIGHT Machining Center uses the latest innovative technology in its design to meet
the challenges of today's students. Using a vibration-dampening polymer composite in its
one-piece base and vertical column it is able to machine most materials, including steel.

The proLIGHT 1000 Machining Center is a bench top state-of-the-art CNC machining center.
It uses EIA, ISO and Fanuc-compatible G&M codes, as do larger CNC machines. It is a full
three-axis machining center with an R8 spindle.

Three options of tool holders are available; R8 collets, manual quick-change and a four-tool
automatic tool changer. Linear, circular and helical interpolation, multiple-tool programming,
canned cycles and cutter tool compensation are just a few of the programming modes the machine's software supports.

The proLIGHT Machining Center is the only CNC machine used at the Skills USA VICA national competition in the Automated
Manufacturing Technology competition.

PneuFlex - Pneumatics Training Panel

PneuFlex training panel gives students hands-on experience in the design and construction of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic
circuits commonly used in industrial applications

The panel is constructed of slotted aluminum and is supplied with a wide
assortment of industrial grade pneumatic components. Students can mount
and configure components on the panel in order to create a variety of applications.
Students can connect different components, change physical parameters and
observe system responses. The combination of software and industrial
equipment allows students to test and troubleshoot simulated circuits before
hardware connections are made.

Panel circuits can be designed and simulated by means of the PneuMotion
software, a pneumatics CAD, simulation and operation software package. The
unique combination of software and industrial equipment allows students to
test and troubleshoot simulated circuits before hardware connections are made.

HydraFlex - Hydraulics Training Panel

HydraFlex training panel gives students complete hands-on experience in the design and construction of hydraulic and electro-
hydraulic circuits commonly used in industrial applications

The panel is constructed of slotted aluminum and is supplied with a

variety of applications. Students can connect different components,

PLCLine - PLC Training Panel

PLCLine is a benchtop training panel that demonstrates the principles of programmable controllers and sequence control systems

This training panel serves to demonstrate the principles of

programmable controllers and sequence control systems, and is

suitable for teaching the fundamentals of PLC at both basic and

advanced levels. The panel can be laid flat or raised to any angle. The

components are permanently mounted on the panel, yet can easily be

coupled, activated and controlled in numerous configurations.

The system is designed for integration with PLCMotion, a simulation

software package that lets students observe and understand the control

logic behind the operation of industrial PLCs. The software can be used

as an offline, simulation tool with its collection of sample HMI

applications. Alternately, it can be used for online operation and control

of industrial PLCs such as the Allen Bradley SLC-500 and MicroLogix

series.

The combination of software and hardware offers practical and cost-effective training in PLC programming and control.



			TTRC update…. The Tool & Technology Resource Center (TTRC) in Newport. NH officially opened at their new location on Main St. during the spring of 2005. The 3rd floor of the newly restored "Eagle Block" building is the home of the state of the art training facility that combines "hands-on" training with virtual online learning. The lab is furnished with machine tools, computers, and software from Intelitek of Manchester, NH (www.intelitek.com). Intelitek hardware and software allows students to learn over the internet at their own pace while still having quality classroom time with real machine tools and instructors throughout the training period. Incumbent workers wishing to increase their skills will feel comfortable in this environment even if they have been out of the classroom for many years.
